چکیده
Oil contamination is a major source of pollution in the environment. It may take decades for oil-contaminated soils to be remedied. This study models using one world’s greatest environmental disasters, onshore oil spill desert Kuwait 1991. work uses state-of-art remote sensing technologies and machine learning investigate spills during first Gulf War. We were able identify clear locations unsupervised classification over pre- post-oil data. The research area’s pre-war post-war circumstances, terms spills, discovered by developing spectral signatures with different wavelengths several indices utilized oil-contamination detection. Following that, we use this data sampling training model various soil levels. In addition, analyze two separate datasets used three modeling methodologies, Random Tree (RT), Support Vector Machine (SVM) Forest (RF). results show that suggested approach effective detecting soil. As result, location degree established. analysis can valid support studies an appropriate remediation.

متن کاملRemote sensing for urban heat and cool islands evaluation in semi-arid areas
Cities are experiencing rapid population growth and consequently extensive urbanization. Land-use/land-cover change is one of the important elements worldwide, which significantly affect the environment. This study aims to describe the emergence of urban heat and cool islands as a result of changes in land-use/land-cover. Land surface temperature over a 32-year period in Isfahan city, Iran was ...
متن کاملAvian Conservation Areas as a Proxy for Contaminated Soil Remediation
Remediation prioritization frequently falls short of systematically evaluating the underlying ecological value of different sites. This study presents a novel approach to delineating sites that are both contaminated by any of eight heavy metals and have high habitat value to high-priority species. The conservation priority of each planning site herein was based on the projected distributions of...

The research study evaluated the soil salinity by using special scientific tools like Remote Sensing and GIS technology, so that proper measurements could be taken for the sustainable agriculture and water management. A study to evaluate an irrigation system in the cotton-wheat zone of Pakistan, the study is made after the watercourse lining was conducted. The study is made on the basis of sali...
متن کاملRemote sensing application in evaluation of soil characteristics in desert areas
Soil is one of the most important natural resources covering a large area of the land surface. Soil plays a vital role in biosphere processes, such as energy balance, hydrology, biochemistry, and biological productivity. It supports plants that supply foods, fibers, drugs, and some other human needs. Conversely, desert regions include about one third of earth lands and these regions have increa...
